Lenovo has been launching a lot of firsts and re-imagined computing devices. Now the latest update regarding the new launch of the company is that the company again has launched the world’s first foldable laptop.
Lenovo Foldable Laptop
The company has designed the PC specifically for those persons who don’t compromise the functionality and reliability of their devices. The laptop is joining Lenovo’s premium ThinkPad XI family and finished as the ThinkPad XI Foldable. In May 2019, the, at the Lenovo Innovation Technology Conference, Lenovo ThinkPad XI Foldable was presented for the first time as a prototype.

Design and Display
As it is cleared from the name of the computer that it is completely foldable device and can be folded much larger as compared to Samsung Galaxy Fold. Customers should not think it as a mobile or tablet. This is a full flagged Laptop with completely foldable display. The display size of the laptop is 13.3 inch OLED panel with 2K resolution or two 9.6 inch display when folded in half. The unique feature of the laptop is torque hinge that allows it to use as a book, tablet in clamshell mode. It also comes with external mechanical keyboards and mice so it can also be used as desktop computer.

Another best feature of the PC is that it doesn’t have a visible crease in the center. According to company the display took last three years in the development and finished in collaboration with LG. Director of global commercial communications and brand at Lenovo, Milanka Muecke, Said:” I have it right here and you can have it in your purse. It looks like a leather-bound notebook that you can carry with you all day long, but it is a full performance PC that fits in the palm of your hand.
Other Specifications
The company has not more details about processor or its operating system but according to CEO of the company it is powered with a battery of one day life time. The Lenovo ThinkPad XI Foldable will come with an IR camera and two USB type-C ports and stereo speakers as well.
Availability
According to company the laptop hopefully will be available for sale by second quarter of 2020, hence the exact month still is not clear.
