For the first time the Korean Giant, Samsung introduced the biggest ever sensor of camera with 108MP in 2019, which literally created a storm in the smartphone industry. The Samsung used the 108MP lens in its flagship device from S series S20 Ultra. Like Samsung, Xiaomi and other Chinese smartphone manufacturing companies launched their devices with same sensor.

The news for now is that the Samsung is allegedly working on world’s biggest camera which probably would be mounted with a huge sensor of 150 MP. The sensor is hopefully come with Nonacell technology same as used in Galaxy S20 Ultra’s ISOCELL Bright HM1 sensor.

According to reports of the company the size of the sensor will be almost 1-inch and will fit nine pixels of the 1-inch sensor into one large pixel for brighter photography. Furthermore, the first third-party mobile equipped with 150 MP sensor is expected to be launched by Xiamo which might be released in the fourth quarter of 2020.

On the other side Oppo and Vivo are also planning to launch their flagship devices with this sensor in combination with Snapdragon 875. These mobiles are expected to touch the markets in the first quarter of 2021.
