If we talk about Touch Screen Devices with Windows 8 we find that all of them have either Convertibles or All in One PCs 10 inch or touch screen laptops but this trend has finally broken by the New Iconia W3 launched by Acer in Taipei Taiwan at Computex 2013.

The New Iconia W3 comes with Windows 8 and 8.1 of display.

The Specifications of the New Iconia W3 Tablet is 11.35 thick and its weight is 540 grams and is made of plastic which was expected because of its price. The other features of this mobile phone include; with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels a touch screen of 8 inch though the color reproduction is not brighter as it should have been.

The battery time of New Iconia W3 launched is comparatively short which is not good news for the fans but they are advised to remain cool and the tablet is expected to be available in either 64GB or 32GB. The New Iconia W3 comes with a 1.8 GHZ Dual Core Intel Z2760 processor though the processors now a days are better and newer but it becomes un appropriate to use these processors in Tablets because they are expensive and as a result they have to raise the prices of the Tablet PCs.

The connectivity features of the New Iconia W3 are, MicroUSB Port, MicroHDML, SD Card Slot and a WI-FI. At the back of the mobile phone you will find dual speakers and a 2 MP camera on both the sides. Also installed in this Windows 8 phone is MS Office and the OS might look smoother in easier tasks but could not perform harder tasks. The keyboard accessory will also be available but could be purchased separately which does not make the tablet look smaller but is believed to be different from virtual keyboard. 8 hours if the battery time of Iconia W3.

It is expected that Iconia W3 is available at 329 and 379 Euros for the versions 32GB and 64GB and the price of keyboard accessory is expected to be 69 Euros.
