In November, the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update was taken by the Google Play Edition of the HTC One and by the Developer Edition of the handset and its US Unlocked units, it was quickly followed.

However for HTC to expand the rollout, large parts of Europe were struck waiting until today. But now, there is no more worry as on the Old continent, the latest release has now started seeding.

To start seeding the Android 4.2.2 KitKat to the HTC One units on its network, the French SFR carrier was among the first. For getting the update, this is the first EU HTC One which means that soon enough; the other European regions and carriers will be getting the KitKat treatment.

Android 4.2.2 and its improvements along with the latest Sense 5.5 UI are brought by the new 4.2.2 update. With the new firmware, your phone will become noticeably faster. Hopefully, the other European Ones will get to taste KitKat soon.
