Apple has entered in the more innovative technology with the launch of its new iPads. Recently, at a launch event, Apple launched its next 2nd generation and 4th generation iPad Pro models. According to Cupertino, Apple’s new iPad Pro will finally replace the laptops. The Apple’s latest iPad is comparatively faster and powerful than Windows Laptop as it is housed with new powerful processor.

The 2nd generation iPad Pro has a display of 11-inch IPS LCD and comes with 1668 x 2388 pixels resolution with 265 PPI pixel density and its display specification are quite similar to its previously launched sibling.

On the other side the 4th generation iPad Pro has a 12.9-inch IPS LCD and featured with 2048 x 2732 pixels resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio, and 265 PPI pixel density. Furthermore, it also has the 120Hz ProMotion display with P3 wide color support and 600 nits peak brightness.

Overall, the dual sensor camera element is added in the design at the back of the iPad. The camera housing looks like iPhone 11. The both models look like the previously unveiled models in past year.

Internals and Storage

As per details of the Apple the both models are equipped with Apple’s latest  eight core SoC, A12Z Bionic chipset and the company claims that the chipset is most powerful and makes the device faster and more powerful as compared to most laptops available in the market. The company has housed the new GPU in processor with an enhanced thermal design and performance controllers are tuned as well.

Internally both models are topped with 128 GB and the storage configuration can be increased to 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.

The latest 2020 launched iPad Pro models have been provided with an additional feature of Apple’s new ‘Magic Keyboard’ under moniker to keep the iPad afloat over the keyboard. The new magic keyboard is also incorporated with trackpad. The new trackpad support will come with iPadOS 13.4 that will be launched on 23rd March.

The both iPad Pros also equipped with updated microphone system. Same as the new 16 inch MacBook Pro these iPad also provided with “Studio Quality” microphones.

Cameras

As has been mentioned above that the new generation iPad Pros are housed with a dual sensor rear camera unlike previous models. They are equipped with a 12 MP primary sensor, like previous models and a new 10 MP ultra-wide sensor.

However, the included camera is by no means the most exciting feature of the newly launched tablets. Apple has added a hardware leader scanner to complement imaging sensors, demonstrating widespread dedication to AR. Both snappers are capable of shooting 4K videos up to 60 fps.

For those who don’t know, a LiDAR scanner is a ToF depth sensor that sends laser pulses to determine the distance to the sensor.

Battery and Pricing

The 4th generation iPad Pro is powered by a 36.71 watt-hour battery and the 2nd generation model is equipped with 28.65 watt-hour battery same as their predecessors. The Apple claims that the both iPads will bear a 10 hours battery life on Wi-Fi.
