Digital Pakistan has taken the initiative against the wide spread threat of the corona virus and it has enabled the PTA to track down the whereabouts of the person, who indicate the higher possibility of COVID-19 infection. The government has taken this step after the statement of the executive director of the World Health Organizations about the wide spread of this pandemic. The number of the corona virus infected persons is increasing in Pakistan and the government is completing this difficult task to contain the spread of the corona virus within the limited resources. He further added that Pakistan has demonstrated the tremendous efforts against polio, dengue and other diseases and the government and society has the approaches to carry out their work. The initiative can have the full effect and huge number of people has been receiving such message from PTA that they have observed that the people can have the contact with other people, who can have confirmed corona virus case in last 14 days. The people are advised to take the important step by self-quarantine and the receivers should take such steps of the safety. 

This step intends to expedite the process of the confirmation of the virus but it has raised some questions about the privacy of data of Pakistani telecom users. The procurement of the information can be done through the sources like Cell Site Location Information and Call Detail Records and other GPS and Bluetooth based methods in order to track the cell phone of a person.
