Samsung has launched another unique and wonderful device, Galaxy Note Edge in the market at IFA 2014. This device, Note Edge has the extended screen and this handset will be added with the curved screen technology. The edge screen provided in this device is great to display the shortcuts, options, and various other functions. The design of this device is similar to the previous device, Note 4, as the basic layout remains unchanged and it is prepared with the plastic frame replacing the metal frame. This device is provided with faux leather on the backside and the stylus are also unchanged.

The device, Note Edge is provided with the smaller Super AMOLED screen having size of 5.6 inches with the addition of QHD resolution. On the curved edge, 160 pixels are added and these are extra to grow the screen resolution to 1600 x 2560.

Note Edge has the same features of Galaxy Note 4 and this device is also added with the features of Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB RAM, quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 processor and 32 GB internal storage. This device is getting better than Note 4 with the new storage memory of 64 GB.

It is doubtful that the new version of Note Edge, Exynos version will be launched in the market. Samsung has introduced the Snapdragon version on the website and it is not possible that this device will be launched in Pakistani markets.

The camera quality of this device is remained unchanged as it is added with 16 MP camera with smart OIS on the backside while the front facing camera has 3.7 MP with the addition of f/1.9 for video calling and for the selfies. This device has the wonderful features of heart rate monitor and finger print scanner. A powerful battery of 3000 mAh is added with this handset, which can be replaced and it is also provided with the Adaptive fast charging and quick charge of 2.0.

This device, Note Edge runs on the Android KitKat 4.4.4 with the TouchWiz proprietary of Samsung and interface is also added to get the support of curved edge. The curved edge has the ability to display the time and notification without disturbing the main screen. You can use the curved space for managing the multi tasking and the short cuts and it is also added with camera buttons for the shooting of video and images.
