Get Free Wi-Fi in Punjab


The Government of the Punjab and Punjab Information Technology Board announced the setting up of the free Wi-Fi access to the people about couple of years ago. The government has declared this project many times during past two years. This project was planned for Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan in the beginning and now this plan will be expanded to many other cities in the coming years. The project will be completed and various other cities will also be included in this project. Now the free internet access is provided to the people at various public places.

PITB has now launched the list of the places in Punjab, where free wi-fi access will be provided to the people and this service will be made available in the cities of Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Murree and Gujar Khan. The people can also watch the popular landmarks, where free internet access is available or the users:

  • Greater Iqbal Park
  • Anarkali
  • City Bus Station
  • Gaddafi Stadium
  • Lahore Zoo
  • Jalo Park
  • Model Town Park
  • Linear Park
  • Jilani Park
  • Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park
  • National Bank Park
  • Lahore Zoo Safari
  • And several colleges, universities, government offices, markets and hospitals
