The search engine giant google is planning to bring its nest Pixels phones. The company will launch the Google Pixel 6 Pro and Google Pixel 5a. As time passes, the reports and rumors and are coming regarding the upcoming Google Pixel Phones.

A famous tech journalist and tipster Max Weinbach has shared interesting information in his latest podcast regarding both phones.

Max reveals that the upcoming Google phone, the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 5a will be powered by the Whitechapel chip which is not powerful as compared to Snapdragon 888 or the Exynos 2100 by Samsung. The Whitechapel chip which is powered in these phones have a performance capacity equal to Snapdragon 865.

As the Whitchapel is a 5nm process based chip which is to be powered in the upcoming google phones. The chipset has a codename GS101 internally and based on the technology used by South Korean tech giant Samsung. The chipset, reportedly will have a total of eight cores, two of which will be Cortex-A76. Internally, the chipset will be equipped with an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) and ISP (Image Signal Processor).
