The government has decided to re-verify the 103 million SIMs, released by Telecom companies. The government has assured to end the reservations of mobile phone companies. This decision was taken during a high level meeting, headed by Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. During the meeting, the problems were addressed about the re-verification of SIMs released by mobile phone companies and to implement the 20 point National Action Plan about ending the fake SIMs to prevent terrorism.

Govt reduces NADRA fee for re-verification of mobile SIMs

Federal Government has decided to reduce the verification fee by mobile phones companies through NADRA from Rs. 23 to Rs. 10 per SIM.
