HEC & Telcos Students Affordable Internet Packages

Due to threat of COVID-19 across the globe, there are vacations in the schools, colleges and universities and the students are staying in their homes. HEC made the decision to start the online classes for the university students to prevent the loss of their precious time and the students can attend their online classes.  HEC is collaborating with mobile operators to offer the students the cheaper and affordable internet access to the educational resources and online classes.

HEC issued the directives to universities to set up the committees to solve the issues, which the students are facing regarding the online class during the vacation and stay at home period. HEC is also contacting with the vice chancellors of the universities to get ready every course and lecture online and it is also training the teachers, faculties members and other staff to provide the lectures online. Now the universities will develop their proper systems for the online learning for the students and if any university does not have such facilities, they need to provide it on the temporary basis.
