Samsung Galaxy S21 series is scheduled to be launched on 14 January 2021 at Samsung’s upcoming Unpacked event. The lineup will comprise of Galaxy S21, the S21+, and the S21 Ultra. The series is going to come with S Pen support feature for the first time. Only S21 Ultra will be provided with this feature.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy S Series previously featured with 2K displays but now something going to happen different with this lineup. As per leaks two devices will be featured with FHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate. The 2K resolution will be limited to Ultra variant of the series just like S pen support. The screen sizes are expected to be 6.2, 6.7, and 6.9-inches respectively.

All the three devices will be protected with the new Gorilla Glass Victus. All the phones will have an under screen fingerprint sensors massive rear camera modules, and a centered punch-hole display on all 3 phones.

Internals and Storage

The new Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be powered by new Exynos 2100 and Korean and American variants will be powered by Snapdragon 888. As far the memory and storage, these devices will have memory configuration as 8GB/256GB on the S21 and S21+, but the S21 Ultra will take it up all the way to 16GB/512GB. UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM will be available on all three.

Cameras

The Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+ will have identical camera setups including a 12MP main lens, a 64MP telephoto camera, and an additional 12MP unit for ultrawide angle shots.

On the other hand, Samsung, Galaxy S21 Ultra will be the  only variant having Samsung’s 2nd gen 108MP sensor alongside a 10MP periscope lens with 10x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto unit with smoother 3x zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera.

The front camera will be a 10MP shooter on the S21 and the S21+, but the Ultra will get a 40MP lens.

Battery and Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra will be powered by a battery of 4,000, 4800, and 5,000 mAh respectively. As per leaks, the fast charging support will only provided up to 25W that is not good news for such flagships in 2021.

In Europe, the S21 is expected to cost around €850, while the other may be priced at €1050 and €1350. The prices of other regions will be announced after the launch of devices in respective regions.
