The new Huawei V40 5G has curved display of 6.72-inch OLED featuring a pill-shaped cutout, 120 Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, a 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 439 PPI density, and a peak brightness of 800 nits.
Internals and Storage
As far as the innards of the Honor V40 5G are concerned, it is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ (7nm). On the storage side, the phone has 8GB/12 GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.
On the software front, the Honor V40 is topped with Android 10 with Magic UI 4.0. It’s not yet confirmed whether phone has the compatibility with GMS or not.

The Honor V40 5G is equipped with a triple sensor rear camera setting and comes with a 50 MP RYYB sensor that is 1/1.56” big, an 8 MP ultrawide-angle shooter, and a 2 MP cam for close-up shots. The phone has a 32 MP main sensor and a 16 MP ultra-wide sensor for selfies.
Battery and Pricing
The new Honor V40 5G is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with a support of fast charging up to 66W. According to the company, the phone gets 100% charged within 35 minutes only. The phone has already provided for sale at the price of $555.
