HP reclaimed the title of largest PC maker of the world and it is launched in the market with new range of Pavilion laptops and the convertibles. The products were introduced in the market for some reason at Coachella festival and the important price points are provided for all users.
Pavilion Notebooks
The pavilion notebooks are provided in the market in three offerings including 14, 15.6 and 17.3 inch. The device has the display options, which are provided with HD 720p, non IPS or FHD 1080p IPS/non-IPS and the design of the device is updated with diamond cut track pad and tilted hinge display.
The users will get the Intel chips, which are ranged from Celeron to Core i7 and AMD processors with E2 or A10 APU. The selection of the dedicated GPU is ranged from Nvidia’s GeForce 940 MX to entry level Radeon series of AMD. It is the combo of both SSD and HDD can be added for 512 GB and 1 TB capacities.
Pavilion Notebooks
The users will get USB-C, USB 3.1, HDMI and SD card slot. On the top of the handset, it has optional Windows Hello-compatible IR sensor. The battery of the device is lasted for 10 hours of usage and fast charging is also supported, which is the major plus. The price of the devices of 14, 15.6 and 17 inch will start from $700, $600 and $630 respectively and it is based on the bundle of specifications.
Pavilion X360 Convertibles
It is provided with conventional offerings and HP took towards updating of the convertible lineup and three convertibles will be provided in 11.6, 13 and 14 inch variants with touch enabled display and they are available in HD ready and FHD versions. HP is packed with stylus with each of these systems.
The users will find the intel’s silicon ranging from lowly Pentium, N4200 to premium Core i7. The storage of the handset is provided in SSD and HDD options and the option for both discrete Radeon and GeForce graphics. In the connectivity option, you will get USB-C on larger models, HDMI, SD card, audio jack and Kensington port with optional Windows Hello support.
Pavilion X360 Convertibles
The 11 inch version is lower on specs than others and miss out the Full HD display, dedicated graphics with USB-C ports and it makes up for the price game. The battery life of the handset is convertible and it is said that it lasts for 12 hours with fast charging provided out of the box. The price of the convertibles is started at $349 and Pakistani release of the device is for two series.
