The new One (E8) is the cheaper version of the flagship One (M8) announced by HTC.
Both look quite similar in display except for the presence of high-class brushed aluminum which is replaced by plastic in One (E8). It was a defining feature and its replacement is very disappointing.
The One (E8) also has connectivity of dual-SIM. In internals, the major difference is instead of 2.3GHz is the 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor. Otherwise they are mostly same including 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via microSD and 2GB RAM.
In the One (E8), there is also a LED flash and a front camera of 5MP. The back camera is changed to a single 13MP BSI shooter with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording at 30fps instead of the One (M8) two UltraPixel units and recording at 60fps.
$450 will be the price of this phone available in few weeks ahead.
