The Chinese Tech Giant, Huawei is now introducing a new technology that will convert the blurry videos to full HD resolution. The company recently experienced the AI video technology dubbed the “AI-powered super-resolution system”. This technology allows converting old videos of 540p into 1080p FHD resolution. The Huawei’s latest flagship chipset, the HiSilicon Kirin 9000 is equipped with AI system.

On the Chinese microblogging site Weibo, the company has revealed about the way technology works. The post details Kirin 9000′s AI-powered technology and how to convert low quality videos into high definition content.

Huawei has shared a picture of a lizard in low 540p resolution with a noisy sound. The algorithm super- sampled the image with a 1080p FHD resolution gives a high quality experience as compared to low resolution image. The second picture also demonstrated in which a female is wearing jewelry and traditional dress.

It is also revealed in the post that even the text and numbers showed a brilliant clarity when converted with AI-powered super-resolution system.
