Huawei Is Expected To Lose Its Position In Top 5 Rankings

The smartphone production around the globe is facing a huge decline during this situation of COVID-19 pandemic.

As per reports of the TrenForce, the overall decrease in smartphone production around the world is recorded to 1.25 billion units in 2020 that means the companied faced a record-breaking 11 percent year-on-year decline. These numbers are expected to rise to 1.36 billion in 2021.

The Chinese smartphone maker, Huawei is expected to fall from 6 rankings during this period.

Top 5 smartphone manufacturers regarding the production were Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Oppo respectively 2020. According to experts the overall smartphone production will increase in 2021, but Huawei will face a decline in its production. The major reasons behind this situation are US sanctions on the sales of Huawei production and separation of sub brand Honor. As now, Honor is not a part of Huawei and now will come against its parent company, Huawei in the market.

The overall hike is expected in the production of smartphones globally. According to experts almost 9 percent increase will be recoreded in the production of mobiles globally. Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Transsion would be the top 6 smart phones brands which will make up almost 80 percent of the total globally.
