The smaller version of Mate 9 flagship has been announced by Huawei without much fuss. This new phone is available with a slightly limited processor and a relatively smaller package.
It has a smaller 5.5” display with 1080p resolution but it is coming with addition of 2.5D curved glass. Its weight is 162 grams while its thickness is 8.2 mm. The OS running in the device is Android marshmallow while it was Android nougat in the larger version.
You will get an octa core Kirin 655 CPU under the hood along with 3/ 4 GB of RAM along with 32/ 64 GB storage while storage expandable option is not available. Like Mate 9, it also has dual camera option but this time the rear and front cameras are of 12 MP and 2 MP resolutions respectively. Cameras also include autofocus function.
There is a fingerprint scanner on the metallic back while it has a battery of 3340 mAh. The device will be available in three colors but its price and releasing date are not confirmed so far.
