The shape of Nova Plus is quite similar to the previous Mate S but it has several changed specs. Nova Plus has a superior build quality but it is a midrange device.
Unlike Mate S, it is devoid of AMOLED display while its 5.5” FHD IPS panel is covered by 2.5D curved glass while the Night display mode is present by switching the screen to a warm color temperature for customers who read text.
As compared to 2700 mAh battery of Mate S, it has a far bigger 3340 mAh battery. The ‘Knuckle Touch technology’ is also present in the phone which can differentiate between knuckles and fingers. A 3D fingerprint sensor is also present.
There is an 8 MP front camera along with a 16 MP rear camera with OIS and phase detection autofocus. Processing of the device include 3 GB RAM, 32 GB expandable storage and a Snapdragon 625 CPU.
