Huawi Officially Launches Mate 40E 5G Smartphone

The Huawei officially announced the flagship series Mate 40 four months back last year in the year 2020. Now the Huawie’s Mate 40 series is getting the fifth variant called Huawei Mate 40E 5G. The specifications of the phone resembles with base variant and pro variant of the series.

Design And Display

Like, other variants, the Huawei Mate 40E comprises same display specifications and it has 6.5-inch OLED display with 1080p resolution, a punch hole in the top left corner, 90 Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The fingerprint sensor lies underneath the display of the phone. The Huawei Mate 40E 5G is comes in White, Black, and Sky Blue colors.

Internals and Storage

The Huawei Mate 40E is internally powered by Kirin 990E. The phone has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB onboard storage. It goes on Android 10-based EMUI 11 out of the box in terms of software. Other major features of the new Huawi Mate 40E include 5G support, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, Wi-Fi 6+, dual-band GPS, air gestures, and stereo speakers.

Cameras

On the camera side, the Mate 40E is featured with circular camera housing. It comes with 64 MP primary lens mated with 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 16 MP ultrawide unit. The phone is provided with 13 MP selfie shooter.

 

Battery and Pricing

The Huawei Mate 40E is fueled with 4200mAh battery and comes with a support of 40W fast charging and 40W wireless charging support. The Huwei Mate 40E 5G will make its official debut in China on 18th March 2021. Its base variant will cost $705.
