IDC has officially released the global rankings of the smartphone brands around the world for the year 2020. According to the IDC global ranking, Vivo is placed in the list of top 5 smartphone brands with the market share of 8.6 percent and the company completed shipments of 110 million phones with a 1 percent growth on year on year sales.

In the Chinese smartphone market, Vivo stands on the second position, in India it is placed at the third position and to company is on the leading position in Indonesia. The Vivo has headquarters in China, supported by a network of 9 R&D centers in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, and San Diego. Vivo is engaged in the development of top end technologies including 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial design, photography, and other up-and-coming technologies for its consumers.
