Lenovo Announced New Laptop & Tablet for 2017

Lenovo announced the new gaming system and the company has also provided the traditional laptop to the consumers in the form of new ThinkPad XI Yoga, ThinkPad X1 tablet and ThinkPad X1 carbon. We look at the Lenovo, which is beefing up the laptops and tablet models for 2017.

The new convertible laptop is provided in the market with 14 inch display on the front side with FHD or WQHD options in OLED and IPS. The processor is 7th generation Intel Core Kaby Lake processor and it is provided with 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 1TB SSD and it is also added with Intel HD Graphics 620 or 640. The tablet is added with fingerprint scanner and IR camera with face recognition and it is added with connectivity options like optional NFC, LTE-A, 2 Thunderbolt 3 Type-C, 3 USB 3.0, HDMI, microSD and microSIM card slot. This tablet is added with battery, which has the life of 16 hours on the 10.5 on OLED version. The pricing of the tablet is set at $1499 for the base model.

Lenovo takes time to update the legendary ThinkPad X1 carbon and it takes the inspiration from excellent XPS series of Dell. It is offering minimum bezels with X1 carbon and throw the 14 inch FHD/WQHD display in the carbon fiber body of 13 inch laptop and it is lighter than 2.5 lbs. it has Mil-Spec 810G, which makes sure the laptop as it does not scratch or break open easily. It is provided with Intel’s Core i7 Kaby Lake and has 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and Intel HD 620. This tablet has the connectivity option of 2 Thunderbolt 3 Type-C ports, HDMI, Ethernet, LTE and 2 USB 3.0. You can get the optional fingerprint and NFC. It has the price of $1399 for base model.

This tablet, ThinkPad X1 tablet is offering the slight different on business laptop category and it places the emphasis on tablet module. The keyboard is provided with it as the additional accessory. The X1 tablet has 12 inch QHD IPS display and it is also added with Core i7 Kaby Lake processor with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD Storage. The tablet is tested and it is certified for normal ruggedness.

It is added with integrated kickstand, which can bend to 150 degree and this design has the weight of 780grams. It is also added with thunderbolt 3 as the Windows Hello-compatible IR camera and the keyboard dock is included with the final price of $999 and Active Pen 2 is sold separately at $60.
