At the end of February, the LG G Pro 2 was initially expected to come at the MWC, but now the Korean phablet will be debuting sooner, it appears. For an event in Korea that will take place on 13th February, LG has sent out invitations and the most likely star of the show is its second gen phablet.
Given that expected to debut this month, LG has no other high profile products, it will be a surprise if the reason behind this isn’t the G Pro 2. In a couple of live photos, the successor of the Optimus G Pro has already appeared, showing its 6” 1080p screen and back-mounted keys.
The Optimus G Pro was the best phablet on the market when it was announced in early 2013 but the device never reached its full potential as LG took way too long bringing it to the market. Hopefully, there will be no hiccups and the Koreans have learned their lesson this time.
