An earlier teaser says that at the MWC, the G2 mini would debut but eagerness is s shown by LG Netherlands which on the upcoming smartphone, released the details before.
Of the LG G2 mini, there’ll be two versions and giving you a choice between Nvidia Tegra 4i and a Snapdragon 400 chipset. 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 1GB RAM is present in both of them. Non-LTE and dual-SIM versions will also be available.
4.7” unit of qHD resolution (540×960 pixels) is the display and not as initially rumored 720p. Out of the box, it runs Android 4.4 KitKat which is garnished with Optimus UI of LG, which contains ‘Guest Mode’ like cool software features.
The design of the back of the LG G2 mini is same as introduced by its bigger brother and an 8MP camera is also there along LED flash. The G2 mini packs a microSD card slot for further expanding the 8GB of on-board storage and also a 2440mAh user-removable battery.
With Russia getting it first, LG says the G2 mini will roll out in March. Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East will follow in April. In white, black, champagne and red colors, the LG G2 mini will be available.
