According to the latest rumor from LG’s head quarter city in South Korea, the LG G5 of the company will come up with a metal unibody design. After four generations of plastic handsets, this would be the first smartphone of LG flagship if this rumor proved correct.

One can imagine about the success of metal smartphones from Samsung and Apple in the past few years which enforced the LG to go for metal production of its new flagship smartphone LG G5.

It looks like that the releasing time for both LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 will be same, which is the first quarter of year 2016. Soon after the announcement of the phone, it will be available in the market for the purchasers.

But make sure that that it is just an unconfirmed report and it may prove anything else in the future. But it will be a sensible approach by LG to replace the material of its smartphones with the ‘premium’ material as most of other companies including its competitors are using this material quite successfully for quite some time.
