LG has sold 3 million G2 smartphones globally since the device’s launch, according to a report in Yonhap News. Than the previously reported 2 million units sold by the Korean manufacturer, the latest sales number is higher.
Between August and September, 1 million LG G2 units were sold. In the last quarter of this year, the remaining 2 million devices got into the customers’ hands. 900,000 are said to be sold in LG’s home market in South Korea, out of the 3 million units.
LG still has a way to go before it reaches its target for the G2, while 3 million units are undoubtedly a stellar sales number. LG announced its intentions to sell 10 million G2 units, back in September.
