The fourth generation of Samsung Galaxy S comes with two processors; one is Snapdragon 600 with chipset on its board and other with company’s Exynos 5 Octa platform. The manufacturers have specialized themselves on Exynos 5 variant and Smartphones are sent back for synthetic benchmark tests.
The Octa-Core variant of Galaxy S4 comes with eight processing cores, with the four Cortex A15 chips clocked at 1.6 GHZ & four power saving Cortex A7 chips that requires processor of 1.2 GHZ. The benchmark tests undertaken included Quadrant, Antutu, Vellamo & GL Benchmark which almost covers all the components of the device. The Exynos 5 powered Samsung Galaxy S4 is at the very top of Quadrant Benchmark and has competitive edge over HTC One and Sony Xperia Z.
The latest Smartphone introduced by the Samsung failed to beat the features provided by HTC One in the Antutu Benchmark 2.9. However galaxy did manage to aggregate 28,018 points in the Antutu Benchmark version 3.0 as compared with HTC which only succeeded in managing 24,259 points. Samsung galaxy S4 is the very competitor of HTC Butterfly in the version 1.0 browser benchmark tests having a score of 2461 points.
Now we discuss about the GL Benchmark Tests and Onscreen Test, in which the Galaxy S4 is more successful as compared to their competitors due to its power SGX544MP3 GPU clocked at 533 MHZ. The device scored an outstanding 39 fps in the test.
