Today at a launch party in China, Meizu launched the MX4 Pro officially. The display of phone is 5.5” Sharp-made with pixel resolution of 2560×1536. 2.8mm width is the measurement of its bezels and 542ppi is the pixel density.
Under the cover, there are Mali T628 GPU, 3GB RAM, a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A7 and a quad-core 2GHz Cortex A-715 CPU and a Samsung Exynos 5430 chipset. There is no miocroSD card slot but the internal memory is available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB flavors.
There are two cameras including a Sony-made 20.7MP f/2.2 camera with dual LED flash at the back and a selfie camera of 5MP f/2.2 at the front.
The connectivity features of Meizu MX4 Pro include NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac while FDD-LTE and TD-LTE are available via same radio but without any IR blaster.
There is a fingerprint sensor fixed in home button under the display whose response time is 0.5s and identification angle is 360 degrees.
There is an Android 4.4 kitkat OS in the phone and with the base price of $410, it will start selling from 6thDecember in China.
