Federal Office for Information Security Germany has confirmed that the hackers have hacked more than 16 million emails and their password. It is also learnt that most of the internet accounts ended at “.de,” the internet country code of Germany, are hacked.
When the prosecutors and researchers have done their research over the botnet, the computer network infected with malware and they are wondered over the hacking of the accounts.
A website has been developed by the Federal Office for Information Security of Germany for the people so that they can know about their email addresses by sending simply a message and know that their email accounts are among the hacked accounts or not. This website was temporarily crashed on Tuesday as there was great rush of the people over this site.
The Federal Office for Information Security haws also informed that if the email of any person is hacked then his computer may also infected with malware. The information regarding the hackers are still not provided to the people by the concerned authorities.
