Just recently, Mobilink has stated free trials of LTE for its customers and 3G internet for Warid customers.

Both Warid and Mobilink are undergoing a process of merger during which the 3G trial services and 4G trial services are provided for Warid and Mobilink customers now.

According to details, the company will initially provide these trial services in few areas of neighboring cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi and it will soon be expanded to other cities. Those Warid and Mobilink customers having compatible handset and living in these specific areas can now use a simple procedure to connect to 3G/ 4G network.

4G network for Mobilink customers and 3G network for Warid customers will be provided according to their current bundles or base rates, according to the situation. The company will use SMS to inform the customers about this matter.

After the merger of the two networks of Mobilink and Warid, it has become the country’s top mobile network with over 51 million customers that will help customers to get benefits of both these networks. Both these companies will merge in to a single network after 6 months.
