Moto Introduces Z2 Play with New Mods

Lenovo has launched the new Moto Z Play handset previously and now the company has launched its new and latest model, Moto Z2 Play in the market but some specifications are reduced in it. It is committing the Moto Mods ecosystem and it has released some new changes to complete the Moto Z2 Play.
This smart phone is provided in the market for $500 in US but the smart phone is not released in Pakistani market yet.

Design and Display

There is no much changes have been made in vanilla Moto Z Play and Z2 Play has the slight larger fingerprint sensor, when you compare it with its predecessor and it is in oval shape at the bottom of the screen.
When you speak about the screen of the smart phone, it has the display on Moto Z2 Play, which is featured with same 5.5 inch super AMOLED 1080p resolution display. There is small change to the design, which is antenna lines, which run along edge of back side. Lenovo has made the glass back for metal, which makes the phone less fragile.

Internals and Storage

The SoC has received the slight upgrade from octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 to the octa-core Snapdragon 626, which makes for gigantic 0.2 GHz difference in clock speeds of two processors. There are two storage options in the mobile phone as there is 32 GB with 3 GB RAM variant and 64 GB with 4 GB RAM variant. It is added with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with near stock Motorola skin. Moto Z2 play will get the separate dual SIM variant with dedicated microSD card slot.

Camera and Battery

The pixels of the camera are decreased from 16 MP to 12 MP if you compare this handset with Moto Z play of last year. The Z2 Play can snap the photos and focus quickly. It is provided with phase detection and laser autofocus and dual LED (dual tone) flash along with 4K video recording.
The front camera is unchanged and it has 5 MP sensor. It has dual LED flash on front with single LED flash in older Moto Z Play. Moto Z2 Play has the 3000 mAh battery when you compare it with 3510 mAh battery from model of last year.

Moto Mods

The Moto Mods family received the upgrades with new Moto GamePad Mod. This GamePad turns the phone into Android gaming console with analog sticks and buttons to match. It is added with 1035 mAh battery and it would not drain the battery of the phone.

It will be priced for $80.

The next one is Moto TurboPower pack to add3490 mAh battery capacity to Moto Z2 Play to support the quick charging. Moto Z Play has the Incipio battery pack and it was added with 2000 mAh battery capacity and it will be priced for $80.

The JBL Soundboost Mod has added with upgrade and it has two 3W speakers with built-in kickstand and extra 1000 mAh battery. It takes the occasional water splashes and this mod will be priced for $80. The users will have the Moto Style Shell with wireless charging. It is provided in the market with 4 different patterns and supports the Qi and PMA charging pads. This mod will be priced for $40.
