Many Media Player Apps like YouTube, MX Player and Spotify gives background streaming to their users. Recently, it was reported that Netflix is also all set to launch its new feature for background streaming by which user can stream their videos in background. Recently, XDA Developers reverse-engineered the APK of version 7.9.1 of the Netflix app introduced the background play feature. The newly introduced feature is known as audio mode. In this way, by using this feature while watching videos on Netflix, a user can jump from one app to another and their show will run in the background.

Netflix Introduces Background Streaming Feature

Same like listening music in audio mode, users can enjoy this pretty feature now on Netflix. Additionally the user can also turn off the video and stream audio only. It will also be helpful in data saving as well. The feature activation on Netflix is not yet confirmed. May be Netflix will test first in some regions and then launch accordingly.
