NIB Introduces Gateway for Internet Payment in Pakistan

NIB Bank has announced that they are going to bring the Gateway for the internet payment in Pakistan. They further added that this internet payment gateway will allow the traders and internet users to do their business online and they can get or pay charges to their customers through credit or debit card for the business or products they have done on the internet.

Previously, PTA made announcement that they have done the Internet Payment gateway in the country in 2009 and after some time Bank Al-Falah also announced such claim that they have done this business but on the ground they did not prove it and did not bring the internet payment gateway in the country. Mr Khurram Agha, who is the Group Head Operations & Technology of NIB Bank and Aurangzeb Khan, Country Manager, Pakistan and Afghanistan for MasterCard has signed an agreement for this scheme on April 05, 2013 and the Head Office of the NIB Bank Head Office in Karachi.

With the finalization of this scheme, now NIB will provide this MasterCard Internet Gateway service to the internet users in the country and the traders or entrepreneurs will be able to use this internet surfers along with their debit/credit card for the services or products, which they will sell on the internet. The traders and businessmen of NIB Bank will be able to do the business and they will be able to make payments from card holders on the online web stores. Now NIB is offering the world class facilities to make their internet payment processing secured and safe.
