We have seen the first official photo of Nokia Asha 500, due to evleaks. More information and specifications are not provided by the leak, except the photo of upcoming Asha 500.
Apart from dual-SIM version of Nokia Asha 501, we also notice few changes in the design depart of the phone. There’s an interesting translucent effect around the outer edges of Asha 500, which certainly looks cool in the photo, but the form factor seems to be left intact.
The physical button in the old Asha 501 is replaced by Asha 500’s capacitive button is an apparent change. The leaked photo also confirms that the Asha 500 will indeed support the popular WhatsApp messaging service and is going to be available in a dual-SIM variant.
About hardware or software, there’s no more information available now. Along with the highly anticipated Lumia 1520, Asha 500 might well be unveiled soon as Nokia is holding a press event on 22nd Oct.
