Nokia Launches 3310 with Windows Phone OS

Nokia announced that the Nokia 3310, the most successful phone ever, is going to be re-made by the company.

Nokia sold more than 125 million units of its original Nokia 3310 handset, launched initially in 2000.

Now, the remake of Nokia 3310 has the same design of 3” screen but the internals are very different. Nokia 3310 will run on 32GB of on-board storage, a dual-core processor and 2GB RAM.

Nokia 3310 will run a modified version of Windows 8 to fit ‘ClearDiamond’ 3” touch screen and will boost a 41MP PureView camera with Zeiss optics and Xenon flash.

Nokia 3310 will come pre-installed with App Folders, LiveTiles, MS Outlook, Office, Xbox Games and OneDrive that offer 7GB free cloud storage. The phone will also feature monophonic ringtones.

Nokia 3310 will be available in green, red, blue, yellow and classic metallic dark blue. The phone will be available with 3G connectivity in few weeks.
