Nokia to Bring All Phones to Pakistan Soon

Nokia is quite hopeful about getting maximum market share in Pakistan as it is returning to the country with new smartphones. By the end of 2nd quarter 2017, new series of smartphones will be launched in the Pakistani market.

HMD Global’s Middle East & North Africa Vice President, Per Ekman, told in a media talk that Pakistani market showed its deep interest in the release of new Nokia phones due to which it is strategically important for the company.

Three smartphones (Nokia 3, 5 and 6) along with a feature phone (Nokia 3310) is the series of handsets released by the company.  HMD Gobal made an alliance with Foxconn and Nokia to release this series of handset for the revival of the Nokia.

In China, the company launched Nokia 6 in December 2016 after which more than one million pre- sale registration within weeks. It took just 23 seconds to sale the handsets soon after its launch in the market. The smartphone was well received by later generation as 86% of buyers were of millennial age.

It was told by VP HMD Global that China is the world’s biggest market but the smartphone was also liked by customers all around the world who gives preference to quality handsets.

This smartphone is quite unique in the market from its competitors due to its body material, engineering and design. Aluminum is used to made body of the smartphone which ensures toughness. Instead of previous Windows, now software of Nokia 6 has been replaced by Android 7.0.

According to Per Ekman, customer demand forced them to release Nokia 3310 all around the world. The question about revival of Nokia 3310 was asked in a survey and response from people around the world was very positive.

He said that Nokia is returning in Pakistan with the same strong build quality and the new Android OS due to which they are hopeful for receiving of this mobile by Pakistani people.

New Nokia phones will soon be launched in Pakistan and arrangements are underway to release these devices in the next quarter in the country. We are expecting to know about prices of these devices in the coming days.
