Oppo R9s and R9s Plus has been released now which is the successor of Oppo R9. There are 16 MP front and back cameras along with a slim design in both these new phones. Several of their specs are quite similar.

Oppo R9s

The regular R9s has 5.5” 1080p display with protection of 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. Its bezels are only 1.6 mm while it is 6.58 mm thick.

You will get a Snapdragon 625 chipset and Adreno 506 GPU under the hood along with 64 GB expandable storage and 4 GB RAM. Both front and back camera are of 16 MP while main camera has f/1.7, faster autofocus and electronic image stabilization.

3010 mAh is the capacity of its battery available with fast-charging support. Android Marshmallow is the OS on which the device runs. On the front, a fingerprint scanner is also present.

Oppo R9s Plus

The larger one comes with a 6” 1080p display that has almost 80% screen to body ratio. It takes power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 and comes with 64 GB expandable storage and 6 GB of RAM.

It has same cameras of 16 MP but with the addition of dual LED flash and OIS. A larger 4000 mAh battery is also there. It looks better due to 98.8% metal design and three antenna lines.

So far, availability date and pricing of both these phones is not known.
