OPPO has lunched the new handset for the selfie lovers with F series of the handsets and it is proved to be good decision since the company emerged as the 4th largest smart phone manufacturer across the world. The company has launched two new technologies including 5 x zoom and stabilized photography and it is refreshing the Selfie Expert lineup with F3 Plus.
OPPO is sported with new and neat selfie camera setup and it is justified with Rs.49,899/-.
Design and Build Quality
The handset, OPPO F3 Plus is prepared with same metal unibody design language as provided on F1 generation. The front side is added with Gorilla Glass 5 and the back of the handset is prepared of metal. The edges of the handset are round and it gives nice soft touch finish to the metal and the antenna is added on the back of the phone and the chamfered edges are given the visual details to help it stand out. The display of the handset is slightly changed from body to fit the large battery and the issue was enhanced by poor quality of factory pre-installed screen protector. The screen is fingerprint magnet as there is no oleophobic coating.
The device is 185 grams heavy and it is understandable because of large display and the battery. The users will get the dual front facing camera so that they can make good selfie with the light sensor provided on the top of the phone. The fingerprint sensor is provided on front side at the bottom and the home button with non click variety. The sensor of the handset is water proof and it works with wet fingers.
The right side of the handset is featured with SIM tray and power button is also provided there. The left side of the handset has two buttons for managing the volume. The viewers will also check the microUSB, speaker grill and headphone on the bottom. It is added with dual LED flash with smart phone.
Display
The smart phone, OPPO F3 Plus has the display of 6 inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution. It is added with latest and new Gorilla Glass 5 protection and the factory pre-installed screen protector to keep the display of the handset safer. This handset has the pixel density on lower side and it is added with jagged edges on the text in its daily use.
The handset has the bright display and it has the AMOLED display. The screen of the smart phone is sharp and tit reproduces the color, which is fairly accurate and it tends to be slightly saturated. The view of the angle is average at best and during outdoor, the reflective display becomes an issue and the matte screen protector is needed, when we use the phone outdoor.
Camera
OPPO F3 Plus smart phone is provided in the market with dual LED flash and OIS and the phase detection. The mobile phone is added with dual front camera setup and the viewers will find 16 MP and 8 MP camera and the later camera is the front camera to make wide angle selfies.
The rear camera is also used to make pictures and the videos and the colors are saturated and level of noise is low in daylight. OPPO used the wider aperture to let more light even if there is low light. This camera helps to make good picture. You can lose some details if there are darker sensors and the noise is apparent if you zoom the pictures in.
Front Camera
The front facing camera is used to provide the real use and if you see the photos below, the selfie with 2 of the team member was taken at the same distance. There is day and night different and there is slight distortion on edges of photos and it is similar to get from fish eye lenses. There is not LED flash for front facing camera it comes with the upgraded screen flash. It lights up the screen for brighter selfies, which are depended on their environment. It is no replacement for the proper front facing flash. The bright and focused lights have the lens flare and the use of wide range of selfie model.
Hardware and Performance
OPPO F3 Plus is powered by Snapdragon 653 and the octa-core processor is paired with the Adreno 510 and the users will get 4GB RAM. The internal storage capacity of the handset is 64 GB and it can be extended to 256 GB by inserting the microSD card in its card slot. It is also used with second SIM slot. OPPO F3 Plus was looking smooth and there are many apps, which are present in background.
