The Chinese phone maker has officially launched the flagship series of three smartphones dubbed as Oppo Reno 6. The lineup comprises of three smartphones including the Oppo Reno 6, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno Pro+. The Oppo Reno 6 is an affortdable model. On the other hand Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ are similar to each other. The main difference between both models is their camera and chipset.

Design and Display

The camera setup in all models of the Oppo Reno 6 lineup is same like Samsung Galaxy S20 series. The base variant gives a boxy look when we see its camera design which more attractive and beautiful. The Pro variants have a rounded chassis.

As far as the display of the phones is concerned, the Reno 6 have a 6.4-inch flat AMOLED panel with 1080p resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 6 Pro and the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ have a curved 6.55-inch AMOLED display featuring 1080p resolution; 90 Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Internals and Storage

Internally, the Oppo Reno 6 is equipped by MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC which is mated with up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB onboard storage which can be expanded further by providing microSD card.

The Oppo Reno 6 Pro is topped with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC while on the other hand; the Oppo Reno 6 Pro+ is equipped with Snapdragon 870 SoC. The both models come with 2 GB RAM and 256 GB expandable onboard storage. On the software front, the handsets are topped by Android 11 with ColorOS 11 custom skin on top.

Cameras

The Oppo Reno 6 is equipped with a triple sensor camera at the back with a 64 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. It is equipped with a 32 MP selfie shooter.

The Reno 6 Pro comes with a quad-sensor camera having same specifications the Reno 6. The only difference is an added 2 MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is also similar to Reno 6.

The Pro+ variant has a beefier camera on board. It is featured with a quad-sensor setup led by Sony’s 50 MP IMX 766. Accompanying the primary sensor is a 16 MP ultrawide snapper, a 13 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and a 2 MP depth sensor.

Battery and Pricing

As for the battery compartment, the Oppo Reno 6 is equipped with a 4,300mAh with a feature of fast charging up to 65W. On the other hand, the Pro variants are fueled with a 4500 mAh battery, backed by 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charging. The Oppo Reno 6 will be 6 will be available for sale on 11th June while the other two phones will be up on Oppo’s website by 5th June. The price details of all three variants of the series are given below:
