Oppo realme 2 was being launched few months ago with a debut of the realme 1 as a competitor for the xiaomi’s redmi.

Realme 1 no doubt offered a great value for money with the specifications that it offered, however it lived a short life and now has been replaced with the realme 2 that was launched earlier today.

The design of the realme 2 is the same, it has the same plastic back and frame as its predecessor with the diamond texture from the realme 1. It comes in 3 different colors, diamond black, diamond red, and diamond blue.

The fingerprint scanner was not available in realme 1 but now it’s nice to see an actual useful feature inn it successor.

The display of the phone has been enlarges and it is now 6.2 inch panel but the resolution is low. Whereas the its predecessor came with full hd+ screen, the realme 2 phone is only available with 720p hd+ screen (1520×720).

When you come to the hardware side you will get QUALCOMM snapdragon 450 octa core chipset, the processor is an old one, as its predecessor came with media tek helio p60 which was a better processor.

As for the RAM and storage, you can choose from two options, either a 3 GB + 32 GB option or 4 GB + 64 GB option. There is no microSD card slot available so you can’t expand the storage and you have to stuck with what you choose.

As improvements has been made in realme 2 camera departments as we know that the realme 1 came with single rear facing camera but the realme 2 has dual rear facing cameras.

Realme 2 comes with a combination of 13mp sensor f/2.2 aperture and 2mp sensor f/2.4 for portrait shots. The front camera is the same 8mp that is also used for the face unlocks.

The battery of realme 2 has been increased by 24% and it now comes with 4230 mAh battery. The size of the battery is amazing in this price, the realme 2 surely gets a great standby and usage time.

The price of the phone with 3 GB + 32 GB is RS 15900 whereas the price of the phone with 4 GB + 64 GB is RS 19900; expect the phone to launch soon in Pakistan.
