Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the final 15 member world cup squad to play the coming ICC Cricket world cup 2019. The selection committee has included the players like Asif Ali, Muhammad Amer, Wahab Riaz and Shadab Khan to play the world cup. The chief selector made it clear that after the tour to England series, the board felt to make some changes in the national team and now they have made three big changes in the national team. He told that Shadab Khan got fit and now he returned to the national team. Muhammad Amer and Wahab Riaz are also become the part of the national team as both the pacers are experienced and they have the ability to do the reverse swing. Abid Ali was dropped from the national team as Fakhar Zaman and Imam ul Haq are in good form and Muhammad Hafeez can be utilized as the third opener. Asif Ali is selected in the national team as the powerful hitter. He also said that Pakistani fielding is very poor and it needs more improvement.

The Chief selector has announced the final national team for coming ICC World cup 2019, which is comprised of Sarfaraz Ahmed (Captain), Muhammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Babar Azam, Imam ul Haq, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Sohail, Asif Ali, Imad Waseem, Shadab Khan, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Husnain, Wahab Riaz, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hassan Ali.

The PCB has announced the national team for ICC CWC 2019 previously, in which Yasir Shah, Faheem Ashraf, Abid Ali and Junaid Khan were selected and now these four players are dropped from the world cup squad.
