PTCL Restores Communication Services in Flood-Hit Chitral

In flood hit Chitral area the PTCL has restored the communication services. In spite of the heavy rain and difficult weather condition, PTLC’s expert teams worked throughout Eid Holidays to solve out the problem in the affected areas, and repairing landline, broadband and wireless internet services.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited Spokesperson, Imran Janjua throughout talking to media he mentioned, “More than 50% of our exchanges and technical foundation in Chitral has been damaged in recently raining and floods. Along with hard work of team on the field, 24 hours most of our infrastructures have been repaired. Some affected clients are going to be repaired in the upcoming 2 to 3 days. In spite of electricity outrages, PTCL is functioning the services sites along with backup power and transportation fuel on mules and horses.

On the notification which is made by Muhammad Nasrullah, Chief Business Operations Officer PTCL, while appreciating the quick restoration undertaken by PTCL teams in Chitral he added, “Helping out the people who are situated in the affected areas while connecting them to the rest of the country remains our top most priority. Let us spare no efforts of restoring services to Customers with all available resources, as soon as possible.
