Realme To Launch X9 With MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Chipset

Taiwanese chipset maker MediaTek launched the flagship chipset Dimensity 1200 6nm yesterday. Right after the launch of chipset the Chinese phone maker officially announced that its upcoming phone Realme X9 will be powered by Dimensity 1200 chipset. This chipset is going to be a first 6nm chipset, Realme is going to use in its phone ever.

The Dimensity 1200 has a prime Cortex A78 core running at 3.0GHz and three additional A78 cores at 2.6GHz. The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is a premium chipset. As compared to previous generations, the CPU performance is improved than before that is now 22% better and the power efficiency is 25%.

According to previous leaks and rumors, the Realme X9 will come with Dimensity 1200 SoC with 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage. On software sie, it will run on Android 11 with Real Realm UI 2.0. In addition, the X9 Pro will come with a 6.4-inch OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1080p resolution.
