Redmi Decides To Launch The Upgraded Versions Of 9’s

The sub brand of Xiaomi, Redmi has already unveiled its premium devices in Redmi Note 9 series that consist of 5 flagship smart phones. According to leaks and rumors Redmi is now planning to come with its three new phones in the same series which are decided to launch in the Chinese market soon.

The company’s General Manager Lu Weibing recently confirmed the launch of these devices in a Weibo post. The company is going ahead with the new devices called the Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition and the other one is named as Redmi Note 9 High Edition.

Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition

The Redmi Note 9 Standard Edition is quite same as the previously launched Redmi Note 9 5G. It is expected to come with the Dimesnity 800U chipset, a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD, a 48MP main camera, and a large 5,000 mAh battery equipped with 22.5W fast charging.

Redmi Note 9 High Edition

The Redmi Note 9 High Edition is an upgraded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro. It will be the first phone in the series to have a 120Hz display and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It will also swap out the Snapdragon 720 SoC with the Snapdragon 750G.

The Redmi Note 9 High Edition is expected to be housed with Samsung’s HM2 108MP camera sensor and will likely become the cheapest phone so far to feature a 108MP camera. It will have a 4820 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Looking at the specifications, it could be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite.
