You aren’t shocked at all at this, are you? Because if you are astonished, we will be surprised too. After months of serious rumor and not very special leaks, currently the company’s worst kept secret ever is official. It’s astonishing even to think that this is the same company which hide the SIII inexplicably well.

It’s as well the thinnest device, however of course you know that. On the back there is a small camera bump however that is convenient and less so then in the S6/S6 Edge.

Samsung Galaxy A8 is Dual SIM integrated device which comes with a 5.7” 1080p display with Super AMOLED at the front. Reportedly this device comes with 4G LTE support onboard as well. Under the hood Galaxy A8 is equipped with a mid-range 64-bit, octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor with two quad-core Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.5Ghz and 1Ghz.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 is the most premium smartphone in the series

This device carries a 16 megapixel camera with LED Flash and 1080p video on the back along with 5 Megapixel front facing camera. For the connectivity option this device is equipped with NFC, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE. This device comes with an impressive 3,050 mAh battery capacity. Lastly, this device is equipped with very important fingerprint scanner, which is placed on the home button.

Officially we don’t know one thing yet, which are the price for this device, but this phone is definitely won’t be a cheap one. This is good that Samsung is at last bringing up better designed mobile phones down its food chain, and this phone is just another step in the (apparently) right direction.
