The South Korean Tech Giant Samsung introduced Windows laptops dubbed Galaxy Book S series powered by Snapdragon 8cx chipset. For now the company is all set to ready to announce the same lineup with power efficient Lakefield chipsets from Intel. The ultra portable and slim laptops will come with 13.3-inch FHD+ displays with fairly prominent bezels and a 1MP front camera at the top. The Galaxy S Books are featured with quad speaker setup by AKG and a fingerprint sensor as well. The Galaxy S Book has 11.8mm thickness only and weighs just 950 grams.

Internally, Galaxy Books are powered by the Intel Core i5-L16G7 Lakefield SoC that is paired with Intel’s UHD Graphics, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 512GB eUFS memory. The company claims the Galaxy S Books are powered by a long lasting battery with a support of 42Wh power cell. Other features include Wifi 6 connectivity, two USB ports, microSD card reader and a combo headphone jack as well.

The Galaxy Book S comes in two color options Gold and Grey. The operating system installed in the Book is Windows 10 Home or Pro based on variant. The Samsung Galaxy Book S will debut on 12th June 2021 for sale officially and its price will be £999.
