The South Korean tech giant, Samsung is set to bring its flagship series of smartphones Galaxy S21 at the Consumer Electronic Show 2021. In the same way the phone maker has also decided to unveil the Galaxy Chromebook 2 at CES as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 is surprisingly featured with QLED display which is the main highlight of the Chromebook. It has a 2 in 1 design with 13.3-inch touchscreen featuring 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, HDR support, and narrow bezels. A USI Pen feature for the compatibility of Universal Stylus Initiative is also featured in this laptop. USI Pen has an ability to detect the level of pressure up to 4096. The power button of the laptop is also featured with fingerprint sensor. The Samsung Chromebook 2 will come in Mercury Grey and Fiesta Red colors.

Internals and Storage
The new laptop is reduced in terms of price as compared to its predecessor and comes at half price and that’s why it is featured with less internals and features. The Chromebook 2 is powered by an Intel Celeron 5205U processor that is a 15W CPU and features 2 cores, 2 threads, with Intel UHD Graphics.
It is also powered by 10th generation Intel Core i3 10110U CPU which is still a dual-core CPU but with 4 threads and higher clocks.
On the storage side the Chromebook 2 is housed with 4/8GB RAM and 64/128GB internal storage with a facility of expandable storage via sdCARD as well.
The Samsung’s upcoming laptop is also provided with two speakers with apower of 5W mated with 5AMP feature which is 178% louder than an average amplifier according to company.
Other features include a 720p webcam, backlit keyboard with wider keys, Wi-Fi 6 (ax 2×2), and Bluetooth 5.0.
Battery
The new Samsung Chromebook 2 is equipped with a battery having 45.5Wh cell that provides the maximum usage time duration up to 14 hours.
Pricing and Availability
Initially, the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 will be available at a price tag of $550. The launch date is not yet announced.
