The Galaxy K zoom camera phone has been announced by Samsung officially and it si the successor to the last year launched Galaxy S4 zoom. Like Galaxy S4 zoom, the Galaxy K zoom also combines the hardware of a point and shoot camera with a regular smartphone.

There is a relatively humble camera of 2MP on the front of the device while the regular camera of the Galaxy K zoom has a 20.7MP 1/2.3 BSI CMOS sensor and a 10x, 24-240mm F3.1-6.3 zoom lens along with optical image stabilization (OIS). Along with a LED autofocus assist, the device also has a xenon flash.

The properties for the smartphone include Exynos 5 Hexa SoC with six CPU cores composed of four 1.3GHz ARM Cortex A7 and two 1.7GHz ARM Cortex A15 while the display of Galaxy K zoom is a 4.8” 1280×720 resolution Super AMOLED. The other features include 2GB RAM, Mali-T624 GPU, 2430mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat and 8GB internal memory expandable via microSD support up to 64GB. White, blue and black are the colors in which the Galaxy K zoom will be available.
