We speculated few days ago that Samsung is going to reduce the prices of its newly announced flagships, Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, due to tough competition from other companies especially Apple. Now the new official prices have been announced which are very sweet for the people who want to buy these flagship phones of Samsung.
Now the prices of both these flagships of the Korean company have officially reduced to around 100 Euros or Rs. 11,000 in Pakistan. According to the latest prices, the Galaxy S6 can be purchased at 599 Euros while the price of S6 Edge is 699 Euros.
These new prices flagship phones will be implemented in Europe in the beginning and later we are expecting it to advance to other territories, especially those where Apple is the main rival of Samsung.
We will hopefully see the effects of this price drop of Samsung devices soon but these changes will surely reduce the profit margin from the Samsung devices which are for usually made as high-end and are not cheap to be purchased in pin pack.
As we told in the previous article that Samsung is facing two types of problems about these flagships. It is the slow production of high-in-demand S6 Edge and the lack of demand for the Samsung Galaxy S6. We are unaware about the profit of Samsung from the S6 Edge according to recent prices but the new prices will surely decrease the profit of the phone which is quite expensive to made due to its thrice-bent display.
