Leaked images of Galaxy A8 (2016) are now available on internet while SK Telecom has also unveiled the Galaxy A8 phone.

Design and Display

The design is quite similar to usual Samsung design. There is a center home button at the bottom of screen along with rounded corners and full metal body. The fingerprint scanner in galaxy A8 (2016) now comes at home button at front.

Its resolution and screen size is quite similar to galaxy A8 of last year that include a 5.7” Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, Android marshmallow and TouchWiz UI.

Internals and Camera

It also has the same chipset and processor like that of Galaxy S6 including Exynos 7420 and 3 GB of RAM. Sensors of the phone are still not known while the back camera is 16 MP with LED flash while you will get an 8MP camera at the front.

Battery and Price

There is an upgrade of battery in the phone as compared to previous year’s model. As compared to last year’s 3050 mAh battery, now it is upgraded to 3300 mAh battery that helps you to get same battery even with having the new Always-On Mode. But it uses the regular microUSB slot and lacks the USB type-C port.

Currently, we don’t have the release date for the phone in Pakistan as international release of the phone is not announced by Samsung. But it is told by Samsung that the price of the device will be of $580 after which we can expect it to be available in Pakistan for Rs. 60,000.
